Emperor Akbar once went hunting in the forests of Bihar. Chasing a deer, they parted from their companions. They were wandering, hungry and thirsty.
He saw some farmers working in the fields. He asked a farmer for a place to rest and something to eat. The farmer gladly took her to his hut and gave her food and water.
The king was so hungry that he liked the farmer's dry food.
He was very happy with his host. He said, "Come to me whenever you need something." I will definitely help you. ”
"Tell me about yourself?" The farmer asked.
I live in Delhi and my name is Akbar. ” Saying this, Emperor Akbar left.
The poor farmer could not even imagine that he had betrayed a king.
A year has passed. The farmer's crop did not do well next year. All the furniture of the house started selling slowly. His life became miserable. So one day his wife reminded him of Akbar.
The farmer went to Delhi to meet Akbar. When he reached Delhi, he would tell anyone who asked for Akbar's house address the way to the palace. The poor farmer would fall into thoughts.
Fortunately, this was the day when the king himself gave alms to the poor with his own hands. The farmer also reached the palace with other people. When he reached Akbar, he could not recognize him at first when he saw him in political attire and later he told him about his difficulties.
The king recognized her and gave her five thousand seals as a gift. He was told to stay in the palace for a week.
How could the farmer avoid the king's word? He stopped. One evening he saw the king reciting Nasaz.
He asked one of the servants, "What is the king doing?"
"He is praying to God to give him more wealth," said the servant.
"The king himself is the giver of wealth," said the farmer.
The servant then explained, "God is the only one who gives wealth and strength."
The farmer began to think, "Even when the king is asking God for wealth, should I ask God?" He returned the king's presents to his wife and children.
On the way, under a tree, he started pairing up to ask God for wealth. As he paired up, his eyes widened.
When he woke up, he found a pitcher buried in the ground in front of him. It had gold seals. The farmer received a gift from God.
Carrying a pitcher full of seals, the farmer happily reached home. His wife was also happy to receive God's gift.
